1957 African Nations Cup - Definition and Overview

The 1957 African Nations Cup was the first edition of the African Nations Cup, the soccer championship of Africa (CAF). It was hosted by Sudan. Only three teams particpated: Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia (South Africa was disqualified because of apartheid). Egypt beat Ethiopia 4-0 in the final to become the first African champions.
