Final

Saturday, June 24 1995

Ellis Park, Johannesburg: South Africa 15 - New Zealand 12
The score at the fulltime whistle was 12-12; a heroic defensive effort by the Springboks kept Jonah Lomu from scoring. (He would not score a single try against the Boks in his career.) The game, and ultimately the World Cup, was decided by an extra-time drop-goal by South African Joel Stransky.
