- Cao Cao, the prime minister of the Han dynasty, is given ten cities as his territories and the title Wei Gong (noble of Wei). This becomes the Kingdom of Wei
- The Baths of Caracalla, containing reading rooms, running tracks, and public gardens and cover 20 acres (81,000 m²), are finished.
- Caracalla leaves Rome, never to return.
