4-Tel On View was a programme that appeared in the 1980s and 1990s on British television's Channel 4 early in the morning before programs began. It acted as something of a substitute test card for Channel 4. The programme has ceased to have been broadcast since the channel became 24-hour.
The programme itself consisted of Channel 4's Teletext pages being broadcast repeatedly with test card music being played in the background.
Similar programmes using an almost identical format include ITV Nightscreen, which has since modernized and stopped broadcasting Teletext pages but instead something more modern, and CLOSE on BBC ONE and BBC TWO, still broadcasting on the latter along with the Learning Zone as a substitute for the test card on that channel while no programmes are being broadcast.
