4DOS 4DOS

4DOS - Definition and Overview

4DOS is a command line interpreter by JP Software designed to replace the DOS default command.com. A substitute for Windows NT's command prompt (4NT) and IBM's OS/2 command prompt (4OS2) were also released.

It also includes enhanced batch file processing, including 4DOS-specific extensions, and is capable of running batch files much faster than command.com or cmd.exe can.
