989 Studios is a division of Sony Computer Entertainment America that develops games for the PlayStation consoles and the PC. Their titles include Twisted Metal 3 and 4, Syphon Filter and Syphon Filter 2, Jet Moto 3, Bust a Groove, and the sports titles released under the 989 Sports label.
The 989 name comes from their street address, 989 E. Hillsdale Boulevard (Foster City, California).
