AMO - Definition and Overview

AMO (Avtomobilnoe Moskovskoe Obshchestvo) was founded 1924. In 1933 they changed name to ZIS (Zavod Imeni Stalina) and in 1956 (after Stalin's death) they changed to ZIL (Zavod Imeni Lihacheva).
