Accept was a Germanheavy metal band which was formed in 1977. Its main membership consisted of Wolf Hoffman (guitar), Peter Baltes (bass), Udo Dirkschneider (vocals), and Stefan Kaufmann (drums). Jorg Fischer (rhythm guitar) was also a founding member of the band but left in the 1980s, and returned briefly for the 1985 and 1986 recordings. Herman Frank filled his space during the absence. The 1989 recording had David Reece on vocals and Jim Stacey on rhythm guitar. The group broke up after releasing their last studio album, Predator, in 1996. Udo Dirkschneider returned to U.D.O. (founded 1987) after the break-up.
