Achrafieh is a part of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Known to be the heart of the Lebanese christian community, it formed the Christian East Beirut after the war started in Lebanon in 1975.
Achrafieh is the center of fashion (ABC mall), entertainment (Sodeco, Empire Cinemas), and nightlife (Monot Street).
