Adamites being persecuted Adamites were adherents of an early Christian heresy from the 4th century, who believed that, as Adam and Eve were naked and without sin in Paradise, so the true Christian should practice "holy nudism".
In the Modern Age, some Taborites, in Bohemia and English Dissenters practiced the Adamite doctrine.
