Adobe Premiere Pro, produced by Adobe is a realtime video editing software targeted at semi-professional video editors. It is a rewritten version of their long standing Adobe Premiere software and was launched in 2003. It is often included as an OEM package with video editing cards like the Matrox RT.X100 and Canopus DVStorm2. Version 1.5, released in 2004, adds support for HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) content, new project management tools, and new filters.
