Advanced Heroquest - Definition and Overview

Advanced HeroQuest was a board game produced by Games Workshop just after it worked with Milton Bradley on Hero Quest.

Advanced heroquest box set

While based on the same concept, four heroes venture into a dungeon to fight monsters and gain tresure, this game is considerably different from its Milton Bradley counterpart. The rules are much more complex and detailed. While less variety of minatures came with the basic set the game is designed so it can be used with the full range of Games Workshop minatures so is more expandable the HeroQuest. The game has been out of production since 1992.

Example Usage of Heroquest

dorkland: @zomben I've decided that I was to come up with something that will let me see how far I can stretch Heroquest.
zomben: @ispinyarn I gotta try that game one of these days. But I'm currently still obsessed with Heroquest.
zomben: @ispinyarn Aside from the fact that they are ridiculously expensive? Heroquest only uses 1d20 though, so it could be justified. Almost.
