Agent Kyle Brody is a character in the television series Charmed. He is played by Kerr Smith
Agent Brody is a mysterious federal agent who happens to know information about witches, especially the Charmed Ones.
Agent Brody had lost his parents to the "New Power". He has been studying information about witches and everything supernatural. All except for demons.
After his parents' death, he had started hanging with the wrong crowd and blamed all of those close to him for their deaths' even when he knew it wasn't their fault.
Agent Brody had first approached the Charmed Ones when they had stolen the Golden Chalice to turn on the Fountain of Youth.
BRody had put Inspector Sheridan in a mental hospital, as she was in a coma, after being shot in the neck with a tranquilizer dart.
Agent Brody had also covered for Piper Halliwell when she was found alive in the morgue.
Brody had developed an interest in Paige Matthews, as she developed an interest in him as well.
Kyle has been keeping a poison to kill Avatars that was the reason why his parents were killed by them as well. In an alternate ending, Kyle went too far to shooting Paige in the neck with a tranquilizer dart, and held Paige hostage to get to Leo Wyatt the Avatar. Leo tried to convince him that the Avatars were not evil as he thought they were, but Kyle had insured that he would kill Phoebe if he doesn't do what he says. To save Phoebe, he killed Brody, but it unleashed the poison, that was actually killing Leo. The Avatars, Alpha and Beta, were able to save him by reversing time before that incident ever happened, to show him a result of what would happen if Leo told the Halliwell Sisters his secret as an Avatar.
Kyle and Paige had finally had a "very" romantic moment as he told her that he put Sheridan in a mental institution and that he has a poison to kill Avatars.
In a later episode, while the Avatars prepare to transform the world into Utopia, they inform the Charmed Ones that the human world must be put to sleep so that they can kill any remaining demons. Agent Brody still doesn't trust the Avatars and calls the Elders for help but the message is intercepted by Zankou. He agrees to help Zankou stop the change and is given a paranoia crystal (that when it touches a witch, it causes them to be paranoid) causing a paranoia spell on Piper (Holly Marie Combs), Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) and Paige (Rose McGowan). During the Utopian transformation, Agent Brody uses Paige's paranoia to call upon Beta, an Avatar thus killing her. However, as Agent Brody throws the potion, he is killed as well by Beta and soon dies in Paige's arms.
In Charmageddon, Agent Brody comes back as a whitelighter in the end to reassure Paige that he is well but he can't stay.
