Air Nippon - Definition and Overview

Air Nippon (エアーニッポン, ANK) is a fully-owned subsidiary of All Nippon Airways. ANK flies to destinations within Japan and, for political reasons, international flights to Taiwan.

ANA and ANK once used different liveries and IATA codes (Air Nippon's code was EL). However, since April 2004, ANK has flown all of its flights in ANA livery using ANA flight numbers.

Flights on ANK earn miles for Star Alliance, and awards can also be redeemed on ANK.
