Al Lowe (born July 24) is a musician and game designer. Once a music teacher for 15 years, in 1982 he joined Sierra Entertainment.
His first projects include The Black Cauldron, Donald Duck’s Playground and Winnie the Pooh in the 100-Acre Woods, all based on Disney properties.
In 1986, he was lead programmer on King's Quest III and Police Quest I and also designed music for other Sierra games. In 1994, he moved with his family to Seattle and has enjoyed his retirement since 1998. Al now plays saxophone for jazz bands, and maintains his personal humor site and CyberJoke 3000, a daily joke mailing list.
