Sir Alan Sugar is a British businessman born in 1947. He was the founder of electronics and computer company Amstrad (the name being taken from his initials – Alan Michael Sugar Trading), and was at one time the chairman of Tottenham Hotspur F.C. He is a donor to the British Labour Party. He is set to step into Donald Trump's shoes in the British version of the American hit TV series, The Apprentice.
