Alberta Court of Appeal - Definition

The Alberta Court of Appeal is the highest court in Alberta. It hears appeals from the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, the Provincial Court of Alberta, and administrative tribunals, as well as references from the Lieutenant Governor. Hearing are held in both the Edmonton and Calgary courts. There are 13 judges on the bench including a chief justice.
