Allen is a village in Hillsdale County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 225.

The village is within Allen Township at the junction of U.S. Highway 12 and Michigan State Highway 49.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census2 of 2000, there are 225 people, 87 households, and 58 families residing in the village. The population density is 579.2/km² (1,470.7/mi²). There are 93 housing units at an average density of 239.4/km² (607.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 98.67% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.33% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
