Amber Rose Tamblyn (born May 14, 1983 in Santa Monica, California) plays the title character on the CBS series Joan of Arcadia. At age 10 she played Pippi Longstocking at the Santa Monica Alternative School House where an agent spotted her. She then went on to play Emily Bowen Quartermaine for six years on the soap opera General Hospital (1995-2001). Amber is the daughter of actor Russ Tamblyn and appeared with him in the films Rebellious and Johnny Mysto: Boy Wizard. She has also appeared in Live Nude Girls (1995), The Ring (2002) and four other movies. She has guest starred on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Punk'd and CSI: Miami. External links
