Amillennialism - Definition and Overview

Amillennialism (or nunc-millennialism) is a partial preteristic form of Christian Eschatology which teaches a very symbolic interpretation of the Biblical prophecy of the end times. It teaches an inaucurated kingdom of Christ, and a spiritual understanding of many of the prophecies of what is to come. It was taught by St. Augustine in the fourth century and was the predominant view among Christians for most of their history.
