Andhrimnir Andhrimnir

Andhrimnir - Definition and Overview

In Norse mythology, Andhrimnir was the chef for the Aesir and Einherjar. Every day, he killed Sahrimnir, the cosmic boar, and cooked it in Eldhrimnir, his cauldron with magical powers. That night, the boar was restored to life to be eaten again the next day. The Aesir's mead came from Heidrun, a goat.
