Andrea Martin - Definition and Overview

Andrea Martin (born January 15 1947 in Portland, Maine) is a Canadian actress and comedienne.

Her most famous work was on the sketch comedy television series Second City Television. Her best known recurring role on it was Edith Prickley, an obnoxious television producer at the television station in Melonville.

Other famous roles include a supporting role in the popular film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding; Moogie, Quark's iconoclastic mother on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine; and as the current waitress on the Downy Paper Towel TV commercials.

She has two sons with ex-husband Bob Dolman, Joe and Jack.
