Anquette is a rapper from Miami, Florida. She debuted with her version of the 2 Live Crew's "Throw the D", namely "Throw the P" (1986). Her debut LP "Respect" (1989) featured a cover version of Aretha Franklin's respect as well as an R&B track ("I will always be there") and a rap track dedicated to Janet Reno.
