Antonio Nunez (born 15 January 1979) is a Spanish football player who plays as a right winger. He currently plays for Liverpool FC, and has been allocated the number 12 shirt in the squad.
He was Rafael Benitez's second signing as Liverpool manager, coming in as part of an exchange deal that saw England international and Liverpool fan favourite Michael Owen transfer to Real Madrid for £8 million.
Antonio Nunez started his career with Spanish side San Federico, before joining the third division side CD La Rozas. In 2001, he joined Real Madrid, his favourite football club as a boy. He is on a three-year contract with Liverpool.
