In Star Wars fictional universe, the Aquatic Assault Stormtroopers (also known as seatroopers and aquatic troopers) were a special branch of the Imperial Stormtroopers. They were used by the Empire to maintain a presence on the aquatic worlds under its rule. Many of the machines used by the Empire were modified for aquatic use, including TIE Fighter Boats, AT Barge and Aquatic Terrain Armored Transport Swimmers. The Aquatic trooper's armour was based on the light design of the scout trooper. It covers a two-piece enviromental body glove that gives protection from uncomfortable temperature extremes or toxic water emviroments. Their armour is more flexible than standard stormtrooper designs. The aquatic troopers regular weapon is a blaster rifle/speargun hybrid.
