Arcturians are a species in the fictional Star Trek universe known for their clones.
Arcturian clones have the appearance of melted skin and hail from the from the densely populated world Arcturas, presumably in the Alpha Centauri system. They provide the backbone of the Federation infantry, as billions of new soldiers can be cloned overnight. It is noteworthy that Arcturians were never mentioned during the Dominion War.
To date, Arcturians have only appeared in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Nothing has been revealed about them in dialogue, so their backstory (by Fred Phillips and Robert Fletcher) is considered semi-canon.
