Arendia is the country of the people of the god Chaldan in the David Eddings book series The Belgariad which is followed by The Malloreon. The arendians are skilled knights (from Mimbre) and archers (from Asturia), but the two group of people hate one a other. So the people have always been in the state of civil war. The nation is a kingdom and ruled by rulers, who have the same name as the funders of the dynasty, king Korodullin and his queen Mayaserana.
