Aris FC is a Greek football club, part of the Aris sports club established in 1914, in the city of Thessaloniki. It is one of the leading sports clubs of Greece, especially the basketball section, which has won 18 domestic league titles - 10 Championships, 8 Cups and 3 international titles (1993 European Cup, 1997 Korac Cup, 2003 Champion's Cup). The football section historically has not been as successful, having won only 3 National Championships (1928, 1932, 1946) and 1 National Cup (1970). Even so, the club remains very popular in North Greece.
