In Hinduism, Arjuna was one of the heroes of the epic Mahabharata. He was the son of the king Pandu and his wife Kunti. However, he was born in the image of Lord Indra through a boon Kunti received from Durvaasa rishi. Arjuna was the third of the five Pandava brothers. He was a close friend of Krishna, one incarnation of the supreme God Vishnu. Arjuna was the most supreme archer and is remembered as the utmost best of his time. The Bhagavad Gita is a testament to the conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna.
