 AsDB - Definition 

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is a non-profit finance institution with many Asian governments as shareholder members who are also the recipients of funding where appropriate. It was founded in 1966 with 31 members states and has now grown to include 63.

The headquarters are at 6 ADB Avenue, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

The bank is led by a President, who is always from Japan and appointed by the Japanese government. The current President is Haruhiko Kuroda.
