The 1984 Asian Cup was the eigth edition of the Asian Nations Cup, the football (soccer) championship of Asia (AFC). It was hosted by Singapore. The field of ten teams was split into two groups of five. Saudi Arabia won their first championship, beating China in the final 2-0.
