Ask the Fruitcake Lady is a regular segment on the Tonight Show in which 93 year old Marie Rudisill answers questions submitted by various people. In December of 2000, she was a guest on the Tonight Show where she showed host Jay Leno and Mel Gibson how to make a fruitcake. Rudisill quickly became known as the Fruitcake Lady.
In 2002, the Ask the Fruitcake Lady became a regular segment on the Tonight Show. The segment shows Rudisill watching viewers pose their questions on TV, and she gives her advice to viewers.
