Aspatria is a town in Cumbria, England, and is between Maryport and Wigton, on the A596. It is about 10km away from the sea. The church, St Kentigern's, is the site of some pre-Norman stone crosses.
The town has a population of about 5,000 people, and is administered as part of the Allerdale district of Cumbria.
