Au Pairs - Definition and Overview

The Au Pairs were a post punk group in the style of Gang of Four. Like the former band, they played a stripped down punk/funk hybrid with a focus on politics and social structures; They drew attention particularly due to the novel perspective of their frontwoman, an ardent feminist and lesbian. Nonetheless, they are little known outside the realms of post punk fandom.
