The Australian Conservative Party is another name for the early Australian political parties which drew their ideas from the British Tories. Australian Conservative Party was in existence in the 1990's but was deregistered by the AEC when the membership fell below the required 500 members. Attempts to re create the party through the newly formed "Australian Conservative Alliance" are in progress, with a website currently under construction.
