Autopsy (band) - Definition and Overview

Autopsy was one of the slow bands of death metal, drawing heavily on Black Sabbath riffs and bleak themes and close in style to doom metal. The main lyrical theme is gore and sickness. The disbanded after the release of Shitfun. Chris and Danny continued in a similar style in Abscess.
