BBC TV Europe was a BBC subscription-funded television service available on satellite and cable in continental Europe. Its output was a mix of programming from BBC1 and 2, with acquired programming being replaced with the BBC's own programmes. It also showed the BBC's domestic news bulletins Six O'Clock News as well as regional news from London. In 1991 it was replaced with BBC World Service TV. |
