Babidi is a fictional character in the manga/anime series Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z. As the son of wizard Bibidi, Babidi learned many special magic spells. These include mind control, which makes someone turn Maijian( like his henchmen, and later Vegeta), and creating a force field that shields him from strong assaults(which he used when fighting Piccolo). His henchmen included the demon king, Dabura, a Freeza-like character named Pui-Pui, and a light-absorbing alien, Yakkon. Babidi releases Buu from the ball that he was confined to, intending to use Buu's evil power to dominate the Earth and perhaps beyond. Babidi was eventually decapitated by Buu, when Buu got sick of taking commands from the wizard.
