Bad Boy Records is an East Coast hip hop record label founded by producer and rapper Sean "P. Diddy" Combs in 1992. Arista Records bought a 50% stake in 1996, and Bad Boy broke ties with Arista and moved to Universal Music in 2003.
Its artists have included Notorious B.I.G. Craig Mack, Faith Evans, Mase, 112, Carl Thomas,Shyne, Black Rob, G-Dep, Da Band, Dream, New Edition, Mark Curry, B5 and Mario Winans.
