The Badlands is an area in the fictional Star Trek universe. Located in the Alpha Quadrant, the Badlands is characterized by the constant plasma storms and funnel clouds. Voyager was pursuing a Maquis ship in "Caretaker, Part 1" in the Badlands before being teleported to the Delta Quadrant.
