Baltimore School for the Arts - Definition

Baltimore School for the Arts (BSFA) is part of Baltimore's public school system. One of the nation's premier arts high schools, BSFA offers concentrations in classical music, theater, dance and visual art. The school has produced numerous Presidential Scholars in the Arts and its students have gone on to attend every major conservatory and Ivy League school. The school's graduates include actor Jada Pinkett Smith, saxophonists Joshua Redman and Antonio Hart, violinist Anna Elashvili and baritone Eric Greene. The late rapper and social activist Tupac Shakur also attended but did not graduate.
