Bamford Bamford

Bamford - Definition

Bamford is a village in the Derbyshire Peak District, England, lying on the River Derwent. The village, which lies under the Bamford Edge cliffs, is the location of the water treatment works covering the Ladybower, Derwent and Howden Reservoirs. It also has a sculpture trail and a railway station on the Hope Valley Line. The football team is steeped in history with the famous Mcveigh family providing many players to this day. The current season though has been a major disappointment with many players leaving with no replacements.
