Baotou (包头) is the largest city in Inner Mongolia, People's Republic of China. It is a city of more than 1 million inhabitants. Its name means "The Place of Deers" in Mongolian language.
Baotou is situated on the northern bank of the Yellow River on its Great Bend (河套).
