Barbara Scott Young, Baroness Young of Old Scone (born 8 April, 1948) is a Labour member of the House of Lords. She was made a Life Peer in 1997 as Baroness Young of Old Scone, of Old Scone in Perth and Kinross. She was the chief executive of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds from 1991 to 1998, and chief executive of the Environment Agency from 2000. She has been Chairman of English Nature and Vice-Chairman of the BBC.
