Dr Barham Salih, was the former Prime Minster of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, administered Iraqi Kurdistan and is now the interim deputy Prime Minister of Iraq. A Western educated politician, he received a BSc in civil and structural engineering at Cardiff University and a MSc in statistics and computer modelling at Liverpool University. Dr Barham is a very widely respected figure on the international political scene and has recently appeared on Breakfast with Frost and BBC world's HARDTALK.
