Stephen Barry Jones, Baron Jones, PC (born 26 June, 1937) was the Labour Party member of parliament for Alyn and Deeside from 1983 to 2001. He was replaced by Mark Tami. He was previously the member of parliament for Flintshire East from 1970 to 1983.

He was a parliamentary under-secretary of state for Wales from 1974 to 1979. In 1994 he was appointed by the Prime Minister as a member of the then new Intelligence and Security Committee, on which he served until 2001; when the Committee was dissolved at that year's general election, Jones was made a Life Peer, as was Dale Campbell-Savours, who had served on the Committee since 1997.
