Battle Beasts are "cousins" to the Transformers line of toys. Battle Beasts and Lasers Beasts were created in 1984 by Hasbro and Takarara. They are half animal and half machine, many with guns or hooks for arms. Each battle beast contains a special hologram symbol representing either wood, water or fire and can be used in a rock, paper, scissors type game.
