The Battle of Hypori, in which several Jedi were stranded on the eponymous planet before being killed by the mysterious General Grievous, is most notable for the fact it is the first time that the General, a part alien, part robotic killing machine, was seen by Star Wars fans. He will play a major role in the events of Star Wars Episode III.
The Jedi involved in the battle with the General include council members Ki-Adi-Mundi and Shaak Ti, as well as the Twi'lek Aayla Secura, the Whiphid K'Kruhk, the Cerean Tarr Seirr and the human Jedi Daakman Barrek and Sha'a Gi.
