Belfast, South Africa - Definition and Overview

Belfast is a small town in Mpumalanga Province, South Africa that is renowed for its excellent trout fishing conditions. It was named after irishman Richard O'Neill from Belfast in Ireland who owned the farm on which the town was built. The British built a concentration camp here during the Boer War to house Boer women and children.
