Benjamin Pine - Definition

Sir Benjamin Chilley Campbell Pine was, in official terms, Western Australia's eighth Governor, although he never actually took office. He was appointed to the position in July 1868, but shortly afterwards a vacancy occurred for the Governor of Antigua, and it was decided that he should fill that position instead.
